Ok, I just bought a 94 Ranger with a 4.0 and 118,000 miles. The transmission doesn't want to upshift out of 2nd gear. If I drop it down from overdrive into drive and back up it seems to upshift and is fine. Does anyone have any ideas about where I should start looking on this thing? The last owner was very meticulous on maintenance and has records of trans service at the scheduled intervals. Any ideas?
