Hey guys, Im new to the forums and would like to introduce myself. My name is Scotiee and I live in Va beach, I bought a 94 4.0 v6 stepside back in Dec. The truck ran like a champ. except when I went to fill up the gas tank I noticed that it was leaking when almost full. After inspecting, the fuel filler neck had a split in the hose, and replaced it. Now I have to step on the gas to start it in the morning so it wont cut off. After a few min. it runs fine again. Fuel pump and sending unit was replaced before I bought it, watched them do it.

New parts added before the fuel filler neck.

MAF, IAC, FUEL FILTER, O2 SENSORS, TPS,

What do I look for next to correct this problem.

new pumps can be bad so it would help to start there. There is a relay on the driver side fender in the box, I would change it 1st then try to get a fuel pressure reading off the injector line. With FI you should not need to push the pedal to start. All you are doing is bleeding the built up pressure off by doing it.
