I have a 92 ranger with 144,638 / Good body and paint
This truck has been very dependable since my purchase in 2003.
I'm not a mechanic but I do try to stick with the Basic maintenance.
Plugs, oil, fluids, brakes, etc.
Recently my local oil changing shop (i had a coupon)
told me my oil pan gasket and rear seal needed replacing.
I'm sure he's right since my oil pan is also grungy from seeping oil.
But it doesn't leak much in my opinion, maybe a few drops under my parking space overnight.
My question is what does this cost? I live in Asheville Nc and Im sure I have a ton of "good old boys" to help repair this if needed.
I know this often requires removing the engine.
Is it worth it?
Should I sell this truck before its gets worse?
