91 Ranger side view mirror issue

once truck gets to over 40 mp/h the side view mirrors in my 91 Ranger pretty much start to flop around like a pups ear. how can i tighten them up?

should be some screws on the mirror head you can tighten. also where it connects to the mount is a bolt you can tighten. mine were too wore out to tighten any more so i had to replace them. good luck.

i looked at the tech page. i figured the mirror issue was a common defect.
how long (typically) do new (non-OEM) replacements last?

should last many years. i've done it on other vehicles and never had issues or problems.
