The clutch pedal on my 91 Ranger started making a loud popping/clicking sound a couple weeks ago. Now the pedal seems to be engaging much differently. The popping sound seems to me coming from the CPP. Its a plastic piece that has electrical plug attached to it. It's where the pedal meets a rod near the firewall. I also noticed the plastic piece that is part of the firewall pushes out towards the engine when clutch is pressed. Does any of this sound familiar? Do you think it's the CPP? Any videos or self help guides available to help me fix it? Thanks for any help or advice!
