Ok so... Recently swapped to manual locking hubs and replaced 4wd motor. Had some issues with new motor and an extra wire...so i cut it. Probably not the best decision but whatever, 4wd works for the first time in years. 4wd motor is constantly in 4wd. It's just my back and forth to work beater so it's not a big deal. It's only actually in 4wd when the hubs are locked. Now that winter is over though, I'd like to disengage the 4wd for the spring/summer. So I took off the motor, and turned the shaft on the transfer case to 2H. Now for my question. How do I turn the slot on the 4wd motor to the 2H position to match the transfer case so I can slide the motor back onto the shaft? Is this even possible, will it work?
Thanks

anyone....anyone...bueller...anyone..
If not, ill just slap it back together and run her in 4wd all summer i suppose.

Take the motor apart and turn it maually.
