89 2.3 swap bad idle

Turns out it was the fuel line connection. The female connector kept popping off of the sending unit. I had to drop the tank again. I readjusted the collar that holds down the sending unit. It looked like it was putting pressure on the female connector. I put the clip in and then ran zip ties into the connector to brace against the prongs. Then I zip tied that off putting pressure on it to hold it in place if it fails again. So far so good.

Good stuff! I didn't see your post on Sept 21 about the same thing so when I saw your fix I wasn't sure if it was for this or something else...

Thanks for the update...always nice to know when something is fixed!
