hello guys can anyone help me i have a 88 ranger king cab 2.9 .it has od but it dont think its workin the rpm stays the same in drive as it is in overdrive .does anyone have any idears

have you checked for computer codes? has it had any trans work in the near past? how about throttle valve adjustment? or it could be a bad converter.
