this truck was originally a 4 banger and ive already swapped in my turbo motor just waiting to wire it up. cant find any diagrams on which wires to re pin on the ecu. found plenty of dis coversions but none for a non dis wiring harness. anybody have anything? need help wanting to get her up and running but at a dead end right now

Search through the "Forced Induction" forum further on down the main forum TRS page.

Many people have come through here getting help with their wiring needs.

And "this truck" would be a 88? 91? 07? 99?

A little more info would be useful

Consider your stock engine the same as an '89-90 DIS engine with the only difference being you have a TFI module and distributor instead of two coil packs and a DIS module, and the late '90-93ish is about the same except they don't have a MAP sensor and have a MAF sensor instead. Your turbo engine uses the MAP sensor as a barometric pressure sensor (just remove the hose, leave it where it was on the truck)

Go to THIS PAGE to get some pinouts that will be helpful with what I'm giving you... I try to help instead of just tell people to search or go somewhere else (when I have time or knowledge)

Anyway, on there, look at the Ranger diagrams with the notes I made above about the only things that should be different, now compare that with the turbo diagrams and compare pin to pin and you will notice some differences (I found a fuel pump signal to the ECM going to the octane switch wire in mine, wondered why it pinged so bad at first :)) There are a few wires that moved just a bit and some that aren't used. The main things you will want to add to your stock harness are the Vane Air Meter (VAM), knock sensor, and boost controller.

The forced induction forum would be a good place to search, there's some info in the stickies, been dead lately but I check in often to see if anyone needs help :)
