ok, I have an 88 Ranger Long Bed that had an 2.9L and 2WD in it. I swapped a 97 302 from an Exploder. Eng runs great with no issues, except that I have no PS. I used the old Pressure and return sides of the steering box and hooked them to the new pump. No leaks but I have no PS. I figured since it was a junkyard eng it maybe a bad pump so I changed the pump. Still no PS, and WINTER IS COMING!! lol. Is the pump not compatable with my steering box or something. I really need my truck back on the road. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help.
