I've got the 90 5.0L and AOD trans installed. I used the gt motor mounts and stock trans cross member. Have had one heck of a time getting the oil pan to clear the front cross member/ttb. Finally have done so but have a concern.

I have 1/2" spacers between both motor mounts and cross member. On the driver's side I have an additional 5/8" spacer (washers) between the motor mount and engine. I have an additional 1" spacer (washers) between the motor mount and engine on the passenger side (leveled the engine side to side)

All these spacers have the front of the engine sitting higher than the back of the engine (far from level). To try and correct this I added some spacers at the transmission end. This helped but also altered driveshaft angle.

Will this adjusted driveshaft angle be ok? Would it be better to have the engine sitting at an angle instead? Any other guidance?

Any help/feedback is appreciated. Now, on to the wiring.

You should be fine
The point of the U-joints is to compensate for angle changes as the rear axle moves up and down during normal, and abnormal, use.

The angle of the engine doesn't effect it that much, we drive up and down hills all the time, as long as the oil pump pick up stays covered then all is well.
Carb angle shouldn't be an issue either, float bowl should be large enough to compensate for any reasonable off-set

I am sure you will be using an electric rad fan, just for space requirements, but if not then you should, angle of mechanical fan in the shroud can effect cooling

Yes, I'm installing an electric fan. Preliminary shows it's going to fit just right.
