need to bypass the switch. i did a auto to manual swap to a tk5. now i need to bypass the switch. i havent had much luck looking on the site.

thx

At the plug for the trans range sensor (the round 5 pin one) cut the pink wire, and the red/blue wire and splice them together. This will close the circuit and take that switch out of it.

I usually do this closer to where the trans harness plugs into the main harness just so there isn't as much unused wire hanging around.

If you do it right at the plug, the pink wire is the middle of all the pins, and the RD/BL wire is right next to it.

Sure. The book I can reach is for 94.

probably different wire colors.

heres the pattern left to right

blk/purp.....purp/orng......red/blue.......orng/pink........red/pink

If you hold the plug so your red/blue wire is at 6:00 and the pins face you (wires face away) then you need the wires at 6:00 and 7:00.

worked perfectly. thx man. ill get back to you when i need more help

this post 100% confirmed:icon_hornsup:
