The 8.8 carriers will work in both irs and solid, there is no difference...

The ected locker is notorious for failing under moderate use. Your best bet is an e locker, the electrac, or arb.....

Yeah, the Eaton E locker is much more reliable than the ected... Eaton just came out with the electrac, its an l/s with full locker at the flip if a switch, but Idk if they have em for 8.8 yet...

Yea. for your disc brake axle. The e brake is shoes in a rotor/drum style.
