I have a 98 ranger 4.0 l 2wd with a 5r55e transmission. Im not sure if my torque converter is bad or if i need a transmision rebuild. My O/D light started blinking and my truck started to not shift while driving. I would have to turn the truck off and turn it back on so the gears could shift but problem would start 5 min later. Its gotten to a point to where when i slow down my truck shakes and stalls. I chnaged the the oil and noticed some flakes but when ahed and finished the oil and filetr chnage along with the speed control sensor and the tranmision control sensor, with the same results. I did a stall test and my torque converter seems fine. Help
