5.8 upper and lower intakes

I have '96 5.8. apparently they do not make an EFi swap harness for the '96, the difference being it is odbII and the sensors are all different. Can I swap on a 87 to 93 lower and upper intake so I can use a plug and play harness? Will it bolt on?

No real difference in the engine itself. You shouldn't have any issue putting another intake on it.

That's the same engine that I for my Crown Vic. I splurged and got an aftermarket EFI intake. I couldn't see paying $100 less for a grungy 20 year old Lightning intake.

I think Typhoon makes a lower intake manifold for the 351W that will fit a 5.0L Cobra intake. I will look again for it. Other than that, you might want to search n-loc.net, corral.net, or E-Bay for an aftermarket EFI 5.8L intake.

Thanks guys! Are the sensors different? I bought the Ron Francis wiring harness and Summit said it fits 85 to 93.
