5.0L manual swap options

Hey guys, so I've came across a guy selling a 4.6L, with a manual 5 speed and tcase all together for $400! I've got a 92 ranger with a carbureted 5.0L out of a 93 mustang, and an AOD Trans behind it, already in the truck... I'd really rather have a manual in the truck... Will that manual trans bolt up to a 5.0L if it came off of a 4.6L? The picture is what the guy sent me when I asked what model the trans was... Thanks in advance!

The bell housing pattern on the 4.6 is different from the 5.0 Windsor, so no, it will not bolt up. You will need to find the manual trans from a F150 that had the 6 cylinder engine to get the right bell housing pattern.

yeah....cheaper to trade it for a windsor pattern....there are adapters but they cost more then a used trans.
