So I plan on doing a 5.0 swap with an Explorer engine maybe this summer (probably next summer if i'm honest with myself), and I was wondering if the Explorer radiator will he sufficient. I often find myself with 1000 lbs in my bed, along with a 1500-2000 lbs trailer behind that in addition. So 2500-3000 more than empty. I just want to have plenty of cooling for things like that on a hot summer day.
Right now I can get that load up to speed if I foot my 3.0 hard, and it hasn't overheated yet.

If I need to retrofit a radiator from a full size pickup or something more that size, I will. Just want some thoughts on that.

you need to uae the explorer rad i just did a 5.0 swap it fits ok used evens waterless coolant and duel electric fans

You have room for a 5.0 Explorer radiator in a 2000, a '92 lacks the depth.

In my truck I wouldn't be scared of towing 1500-2k with the 91-94 HD Explorer radiator if not doing a lot of stop and go type stuff.
