5.0/4R70W Swap AA Motor Mount location?

I am attempting my first engine swap on my 88 Ranger 4x4, and have some questions about the location of the Advanced Adapter motor mounts.
The instructions provided by AA aren't that clear. I am measuring the location of the slots I have to cut from the holes shown in the image. Does that look right to you guys that have used these mounts?

No experience...
They do mention variations in crossmembers, but assuming yours is the correct one for the diagram, it looks like the new slots are correct position.
