5.0/302 and AOD Shifter Setup

I'm installing a 1990 5.0L and AOD transmission in my 87 BII, 4X4, manual trans with manual TC.

I was able to obtain the floor shifter, floor pan, and linkage from an 87 BII with auto trans.

Can anyone tell me what modification(s) I need to make to make this shifter compatible with the AOD? Any other suggestions?

There were 2 different AOD shifters
P R N OD D 2 1
P R N OD D 1 << no manual shift to 2nd gear

These were different transmissions as far as internal shift cam I believe, both AOD
Check yours by manual shifting it and counting the detents
