Hello All,
I have been browsing these forums for awhile but just recently(today) actually joined. I have a 1997 Ford Ranger xlt, 4.0 V6. My 4wd has been absent for sometime now, I have the dreaded 6 blinks every two minutes. I recently began the work to correct it, but have yet to solve the issue.
So far I have...
Replaced the T-case shift motor.
Swapped the 4wd control module.( have 3 of them from the salvage yard)
Swapped /tested the dashboard switch
Checked the two fuses for 4wd ( and every other fuse)
Reset the computers via battery disconnect.
Had the codes read at O'reillys, none available
Tested the 4x4 fuses for juice (14.8 volts while running)
I am now at a lose, where to go from here? Any new or old ideas for a solution? Thanks in advance!!
