Hey everyone, I have a 94 ranger xlt 3.0 5speed 2/4 drop. Are 4wd shocks compatible with my rwd? I came a cross a good deal on a full set I'm pretty sure the rear shocks are compatible but what about the front set? Thanks for any help

The two big things with shocks are operating length, and eye size. Eye size should be the same, but a stock 2wd is already 2 inches lower than a stock 4x4. You dropped the rear of your truck another 4 inches. If they fit at all they will probably be fully compressed at ride height.

they will probably be fully compressed at ride height.

Fully compressed? With 4-6 inches of suspension drop (relative to a 4wd) they will probably lift that truck.

While both front and rear will physically bolt in, that doesn't mean you should do it.

I agree with ADSM, you'd be better off passing on that deal and get the right shocks. With drop springs and a 4" rear drop, I'd probably even recommend getting drop springs.

And thus be fully compressed.
