3rd generation/4th Generation 2wd Stance

3rd generation/4th Generation 2wd Stance(height)
Was wondering if anyone knows the difference in stock height stance between TIB 3rd Generation 93-96 2wd Rangers and the 4th generation 2wd Rangers.
Do the fourth generation Rangers only look higher stock because of the 15 inch tires, while the 3rd 2wds came in 14's.

Basically does a 3rd generation 2wd with 15 inch rims and tires sit the same height as a stock 4th generation 2wd with 15's.

I have 96 3rd generation that I'm looking to level in the front and add 1 inch body lift.. I'm asking the question because the 4th generation 2wds with level in the front have a nice look with 31's. Want to mimic this with my 96 3rd gen.

First off, welcome to TRS.

To answer your question, I believe the height difference between the front and rear is 1.5 inches no matter the year or drivetrain configuration. I think the newer trucks look taller because of the 15 inch rims, my 93 looked alittle taller with 15's. I also recently added a leveling lift to mine, looks really good now, but still needs bigger tires. I'm looking to do the same set up as you, I am looking to add a 1 inch body lift and run 31x10.50x15 tires on some generic steel D -window rims with OEM hubcaps. What you plan on doing should look really good and will look better than a stock newer gen truck.
