JD suspension lift. No body lift. How much hacking do you think I need to fit 33s?

I only have 4" suspension and a 2" BL and clear the 36's on mine, Steg. I do have cut out fenders 3" flair/3"cutout (front) and sawsall cut rears on my Ranger. When I first started lifting my Explorer I originally had a 4" suspension and was running 32" Swamper radials

If you're talking about Gen 1 Ranger's, then the issue you'll run into is the small wheel arches.

Here's a Gen 1 with 33"s. It has a 4" lift, 3" body lift and some fender trimming which you can see at the bottom of the wheel arches.

I did run 32s a long time ago with a Duff suspension lift. I did have some rubbing. But I did not have to cut any thing. I am just wondering what flairs I need to get so I can run 33s

my pickup is a 94 mazda so a bit different, but i did run 33's with no lift, the factory flares were busted up and falling off so i trimmed around the outside edge of them to get rid of the scratches left behind, im pretty sure it was 2" all the way around on the front.
