302 swap question for 90 4x4

I am thinking of replacing my loud, lifter ticking 4.0 which has 240k with a 302.
What would be my best route in finding the best motor? All info is helpful!

Best would probable be a 5.0L from an Explorer, lower miles and better fit/parts. Covered many times down in the V-8 swap section. When asking more questions, better to include what intended use and such.
