3.0 Stumble Hesitation when Cold

Truck not losing coolant or running hot just think its strange that before the problem coolant only just lined the bottom of the overflow tank and now its nearly full all the time

As for the a/c line it runs over my valve cover and into the cab its leaking down and dripping over the valve cover and down onto the number 3 wire.

Ill try and test the MAF if I dont find something conclusive soon its going to the mechanic to see whats up with it

Does the coolant look milky? How about under your radiator cap? If you didn't fill your system there isn't much that could make coolant "magically" appear in the overflow tank, and none of the reasons are good.

Coolant isnt milky just very dirty-brown lol oil also looks good and clean

Grrrrrr the problem persists the dip I mentioned in idle is now more pronounced and when I shifted into reverse from park there was a definitive miss still no codes!

Coolant leaking onto a plug wire WILL cause a misfire. Fix that and press on from there.

Had some serious issues this morning, truck started fine then the lope I mentioned stalled the motor. After that it would start but wouldnt stay running.

Ill pull the number three plug and try and fix the leak ill post back what I find

Thanks.

Ok dont have alot of money so I botched up the leak via duct tape and confirmed fire in my #3 then I found some extra coolant lying around and drained the system and refilled, my positive battery post was badly corroded-enough to set of the battery light, i cleaned the post and the light went away. Payday I'm going to get a new hose, factory intake from a junkyard and a new MAF it's been 2 cold drives with no drama the idle is still shaky but it's running without dieing, always good lol.

The duct tape eventually fell apart and the problems came back, replaced the hose and all is well (this was 7k miles ago) the problem was like a miss on all cylinders at the same time. So I can only assume the coil was being shorted. How common is that? Also my idle is still very crappy. I can unplug the maf and all is well. Still no codes.

Yes, thoroughly also switched intake to stock unit, same symptoms.

Considering everything I've done to this truck I really believe the maf is the cause of my idle. Don't know for sure because I don't really have the tools to check it and im not sure how common within range failures are for mafs.
