Son is stranded at college in middle of replacing heads on a 2001 B3000 8th letter in VIN is a U. Push rod motor - cast iron heads. Head bolts removed from the block were about 4.5 inches (114mm) long tip to tip - metric 12 at 1.5 inch pitch. Everything I see online at RockAuto/Felpro etc say stock is a m10 1.5 at 128mm long. The threads in the block were recessed indicating indeed a 2001 motor although appears that someone has either replaced heads before. Something doesn't seem quite right. Saw plenty of info on differing torque specs changing from 1998 to 2001 - but nothing about specific both size and length. Thanks for any help!!
