2wd reg cab onto a 4wd ext cab??

I just came across a 93 4x4 ranger that was flipped over, it is an extended cab. i currently own a 94 reg cab short bed, i was wondering if i was able to just switch the cabs or if it was a different chassis? thx for any help in advance.

Different length frame, you would either have to cut the frame to fit your cab, or cut the rear cab mounts off and move them forward, but you would still have a gap between the cab and bed...

if you would put your cab on the 4x4 frame, you could make the gap between the bed and cab smaller by goin to a junk yard and buyin a long bed for it. thats what i would do.

Agree with both previous answers and maybe some kinda rack in between the cab and bed or shorten the frame.
