Alright,
I have access to a 289 and c4 tranny out of a fairlane or falcon? from my brother in law for $300.00. Should I go with that or try to find a 302 and tranny somewhere else? I've heard a 289 is wide and makes for a hard swap.
I have a 2.8 now 4x4 stock. And my stock radiator is leaking at a seam, so I was thinking of getting a (V8)3 core radiator now since I plan on doing the swap anyway, so what is the best radiator to look at far as hoses lining up? Also, I'm thinking of trying to get some 16 or 17's off a newer exploder or sport track at a JY, what would be the best size to torque, gas mileage, and fit for a 83 ranger? I want to get some mudders, but nothing to extreme as this truck is going to be a DD
