Here is a video of Ford Trail Control Engineer Brandon Cameron explaining the Trail Control and Terrain Management systems to me. The video and introduction is by my friend Steve Turner.

Off-Road Test Drive Video:

I recorded this video with my cell phone while test driving the 2019 Ford Ranger off-road on December 14, 2018. The video isn’t the best quality, and there isn’t any audio at the beginning. I just wanted people to get a look at the course I was driving on.

This was not intended to be a hardcore trail, but to allow people to see how the truck performs, and test its Trail Control and Terrain Management.

I'll look and see what I can come up with. Several of the add ons I've done have come with instructions. They may have some of what your looking for. If I can still find the paperwork.

On a personal note, if I could afford one of those 2019-2023 new trucks do you think I’d be screwing around with all my old crap?

Now, now my friend; what you're really saying is that some us of are discerning connoisseurs of vintage automotive art, and thus we opt not to tote the note on the road-capable "devices" that are sold these days in lieu of a real truck.


@Jim Oaks sorry, but my RPC (Ranger Porn Collection) is 1983 through 1994 only; otherwise I would love to send some stuff.


And, I'm just kidding about the "road-capable 'devices'". The new stuff is nice (and expensive!), but some of us just prefer older vehicles.

Newer isn’t always better. There are some nice things about the new Rangers but they lost some nice things when the original Rangers went away too.
