Wanted 2008 Dana 35 diff??

Hello looking for torsion or similar for my front diff let me know what ya got

You have a Dana 35 SLA in a 2008 Ranger, used in 1998-2011 Rangers, seen here: https://www.therangerstation.com/tech/ford-ranger-4x4-front-axle-1998-2011/

2001-2011 have "Live axle" so the axles on each side were attached to the hub with spline and nut setup, always locked(live)
1998-2000 had "auto lock" axles, which can be changed to manual lock, 2008 hubs would need to changed

So I would need to swap over axles and hubs to 98-2000? Befor putting a lsd or locker in?

No, limited slip and lockers are differential setups, doesn't effect hub/axle mating
But some may prefer the ability to unlock front wheels from the axles, users choice really

All Ranger 4WDs came with OPEN differentials, regardless of year, actually almost every on-road 4WD had OPEN differential from any maker, unless special ordered

If memory serves, I think Torsen was the only maker of a locker for the Dana 35 SLA but that was past years there may be other makers now

Ya I’m trying to figure out what type lockers put there not allot info on the subject was hoping someone had one kicking around I could buy
