2004 ford ranger can no longer reverse while turning?

Hello! So I have a 2004 Ford ranger edge 4x4 4.0 that has been making some noise on my way back from a road trip. The ABS light turned on during the trip, and about 200 miles from home every time I start taking a right hand turn even slightly, the truck starts clunking and jerking almost like when you turn very sharply with 4wd engaged, even though the truck was in 2wd. Tonight when I went to back out of my driveway, I turned left in reverse and the truck would not move. I pulled back forward and there was an awful clanking and grinding in the front right so I stopped it where it is. Any ideas at all? Thank you.

I'm pretty sure you have a front axle shaft that grenaded the CV joint, sounds like you have it narrowed down to which corner. It should be doable if you are handy but if not might not be too bad for a shop to do...
