Put the engine from a 2002 in a 2000 body, will run with 2002 computer, CEL comes on Bad DPFE (does not have an EGR on this engine)
Engine will not run with 2002 computer, figure it is the ignition switch anti-thief keeping it from starting up.
What would be the best and easiest fix. Tried to bypass DPFE but haven't had any luck yet.
would have to change exhaust manifold to be able to install EGR , (broken bolts a coming if I have to go this route.
I would appreciate any info!
