2001 Ranger brake light HELP!

Have a 2001 Ranger 4.0.

Tail lights, turning lights all work. Brake lights don't. I've checked fuses and they are good. I've checked light bulb and it does work.



Anyone have any ideas, or can tell me the wiring color codes?

There's 2 tails, one with 3 wires and other is 2 wires

Appreciate any help and thanks in advance!

If your rear Turn signals work, The wiring from the Multi-Function switch to the back of the truck is good.

If fuse is good, that just leaves the brake light switch or the multi function switch.

Thank you. I'm going to test the brake switch when I get home soon! Will update on how that goes.

Well I checked the brake switch at the pedal and it's working.

Went to junk yard and got the whole tail light harness, put it on my truck and now...

I have tail lights, and passenger brake light but not driver.

This is driving me nuts! Any other ideas I can try??
