Well guys this is pretty straight forward I was curious if anyone know the belt length to bypass the ac and ps for a 4.0 sohc 2001. I'm trying to hit mid-ish 9's in the 1/8 and losing the extra drag off of the belt drive will help along with a couple more of small upgrades I have in mind. So if anyone knows off hand what the length is it would save me some time in front of the auto parts store taking belts on and off.
Thanks in advance,
Ricky

Easiest way I've found is to get a junk belt which is longer than you need, cut it and wrap around the pulleys while someone holds the tensioner in to the correct position, mark the belt and measure from the end to the mark, then go to the store and say I need a serpentine belt with "X" ribs and "X" inches long.

Well I appreciate that. Not exactly what I was looking for, I worked at a autoparts store for 4 years so I know how to get a good est. Similar to how you were stating but it still may be incorrect with a inch and a half or so. Thanks though. I was just trying to save some time to see if someone knew the exact belt size.
