2001 3 liter v6 to 5.0 v8

Alright guys this is my first post! I got my ranger a couple of months ago, it's a 2001, 3L v6 manual rwd. I soon realized it's not the fastest thing on earth, so I dug around a little bit and found this post on how to do the explorer 5.0 swap

I read through it all and it seems easy enough to do on a 4wd automatic, but I was really hoping to keep the manual transmission, and my budget/skill won't allow for a 4wd swap (if that's even possible) So does anybody have any experience, tips, tricks, pics of how to do this swap with a 2wd manual? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Its very possible. Use the search buttom at the top of every page. You will need a tune to delete the auto trans functions, but there are a few different transmissions to choose from, all of which can be swapped...
