The cable snapped when pulling the release handle for the foot eBrake. I can see where it feeds and looked around online for DIY write up. Does the eBrake assembly have to totally be removed to install the new cable ?

Nope, super easy to remove and replace. Comes as an assembly with the handle and cable. You can just pull the lever on the park brake assembly forwards and remove the release cable from it, then unbolt the handle and replace it.

OK great will order from dealer today (tried RockAuto.com but did not see it listed)
