2000 3.0 swap into 1993

Picked up a 2000 3.0 5 speed 4x2 to swap into my 1993 3.0 5 speed, to my knowledge everything should bolt up just fine only issue is the speed sensor or lack thereof on the new transmission, I've read I could use a Dakota digital unit wired into the Abs but would prefer to swap the spedo gear over if possible, if anyone has any information on either solution that would be great. Planning to replace the transmission sometime in the next month and want to get it out and in as fast as I can

Does it have an electronic speed sensor in the same place as the drive gear from the 93? Even if so it'll probably mean completely tearing the transmission down to change it.

2000 uses the rear axle ABS sensor for the speed signal.

You should be able to swap the tail housings between the transmissions, however I don't know if the output shaft of the '00 trans would be machined to accept the speedo gear or not, maybe someone else knows? (I know swapping shafts basically requires a full tear-down of the trans).
