Just got truck running and back together today and it was bucking and acting crazy. Would idle fine then shut off instantly but wouldn't drive well at all. Check codes and they are 14, 18, 87, 88. I read their description but don't understand what they mean. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

three of them point to ignition. the other is fuel. I'd start with ignition and see if 87 is a side effect.

Good idea. I just went thru the ignition and replaced just about everything. I have pierced holes in the wires of the crank sensor where I used my meter to test it. The holes are kind of big and u can see the copper, wonder if that can be a problem? Its down really low, about 1 inch from the sensor itself.

You did reset the computer and erase the memory right Do the KOEO test and when it starts giving you codes end the test that will erase the memory. Then disconnect the battery for 1/2 an hour to reset the computer. Then run it through a complete warm up and then test it hot. That will give you current codes the only code you need to worry about is the lowest number first say 14, address that code dot the necessary repairs and then start all over again erase the memory and reset the computer run it at least 20 mins to set the new values then retest to confirm the repair. One bad sensor can set multiple codes just focus on the lowest number first keep doing that until you get 11-1-11 KOER. first 11 hard faults single 1 separator and second 11 is memory.

Kinna sounds like the spout jumper is not in check the timing does the timing advance as you push on the skinny pedal.

Spout is missing. Just got truck and am repairing it. Will truck buck and skip with no timing advance? That what the spot does, correct?

sounds like a bad ignition module.

Still nothing. Replaced ICM and installed spout. Truck will start but not take any gas then shut off and won't start back for 20 min or better. Then repeat
