Good morning everyone,
a few months ago I had the carpet out of my truck for a severe cleaning job. I took a water hose and completley flushed and scrubbed the cab, and ever since my airbag light has been going off. It's reading the code 52.
Curiously, it had stopped for a few days not too long ago but it went back on.
Of course, I had been doing a lot of research and the most promising bit I could find was a article with the following steps:
1. cycle engine off and then to run.
2. observe indicator light for the code 52 5 flashes then 2.
3.locate the diagnostic service conector underneath the glove box containing circuits 631 (T/R) and 57(BK).
4.Use a jumper wire to short circuits 631 to 57
5.Hold short until air bag diagnostic tone appears
6.release short on circuit 631 and 57
Can anyone confirm that this works? Could you also clarify which connectors are meant, I don't know which is what.
Any other help is supremley appreciated as well.
Thank you!
