Hello all! New here and first post, I have a 1997 Ford Ranger, 2WD stock. Here are my questions...tried the local tire place and they were of almost no help. I'm looking to get Pro Comp Series 98 Flat black 15x8 wheels that come with 3.75 backspace, and BF Goodrich All Terrains size 31x10.50, I'd like to go with this setup but the 31's seem to fit on some people's stock setup and not others...so I'm confused about that :icon_confused:, the next size down in tire size is 30x9.50 but then I lose some width. So my question is will the 15x8 wheels with 3.75 backspacing and 31x10.50 tires fit on my Ranger, all help and advice on this is very much appreciated!! :icon_thumby:

It'll be tight up front on a 2wd. I don't think 31's are going to fit without a little bit of lift. A 235 will fit, that's 29" and narrower. A 30x9.50 should be okay and doesn't look much different than a 31x10.50, especially since you're truck sits lower than a 4wd.
