1997 Ford Ranger 4.0 P1443 Code

Having compared part numbers and prices I have learned from O'Reilly Auto Parts the 97 3.0 and 4.0 canister purge solenoid (part # CP509 $23.99) and the vapor canister purge solenoid (part # CP505 $49.99) have the same part number. I thought I would add this for anyone like myself who has 2 97 Rangers one with a 3.0 and one with a 4.0 engine. My 4.0 is giving me a P1443 code so I was wondering if I could interchange and see if that was my problem.

Ive noticed that the purge valve and flow sensor are interchangeable between the 1995-1997 years 2.3L, 3.0L, and 4.0L. Ive interchanged those two parts on every 1995-1997 Ranger ive had because of code P1443.

Pretty sure they are the same for 1990-1997 EVAP systems regardless but I mainly deal with 1995-1997 Rangers so dont have much experience with the EVAP on earlier models.
