I was led to believe that it was just a matter of only removing the nuts from the donut mount studs.

So, after some hands on experience, things aren`t as easy as just that.....

The top nut is right there in your face, but the bottom nut is not accessible. Is it required to unbolt the three bolts on the lower motor mount on the crossmember and then raise the engine, or am I not seeing this right?

Thanks.

Nope, your seeing it right, that's really the only way I've done it. Usually only takes about and hour ish to do.

Thanks Haywire6000,
thanks for confirming I'm not insane.

I've yet to tackle the job, but I won't be flailing about when I get back to it.
