I got a 96 ford ranger with the 2.3, but problem is when it gets warm, it tends to idle at about 2500-3000 with the clutch in. But, shut the truck off and restart it, idles normal for about ten minutes. Has anyone had this problem or know whats wrong?? Thanks in advance.

No CEL? Sounds like the early stages of the idle control sensor (not the correct terminology but close enough a parts store would know what your talking about), going bad. You could pull it and clean it, but that is a temp fix (might help with diagnostics).
