1996 4.0 Camshaft position sensor location

hello everyone, i am having trouble finding the camshaft position sensor on my 4 liter. i have found the crankshaft position sensor, but am having a difficult time with the camshaft position sensor. i am having a issue where my ranger will run fine, but when i change gears like to reverse or drive, or turn the wheel, it sputters and surges and will often times die. otherwise it will drive down the road without issue. any advice or pictures would be very helpful.

My 1st though with an engine that drives an automatic transmission that stalls/dies is the to check the transmission fluid level, then the torque converter, once I have determine that it is not a fuel issue.
