I notice that when I fill up my gas to the full mark it starts to leak gas. It looks like there is a leak somewhere and when I fill it up to the max it would overflow under the car.

What are my options to get this fixed?

The usual explaination for this is that the fuel filler hose that connects the side of your truck to the fuel tank has a crack in the neck. Right where the tube bends and connects to the fuel tank is the usual place.

I just recently replaced mine with an aftermarket fuel filler tube (costs ~30-90 on ebay). Ford will charge you 350+ for their fuel filler tube.

could be a cracked venthose, which surrounds the inner filler hose. could also be a rusted top on your fuel pump hanger causing gas to escape when filled up. the only sure way to tell is to drop the tank down and inspect everything as you go.

Dropping the tank is as pain in the butt. Removing the bed is easier. 6 Bed bolts, 3 filler neck screws, 1 helper (or a rigged lift) and it's off.

Many times it is the filler neck.

Cracked fuel filler tube or neck. Very common issue. The filler tube is made out of a premolded rubber tube which dry rots over time. I had to do this repair on my 93 Ranger. If you wan't to make life easier for yourself remove the bed to do this and do not drop the fuel tank.
