Does anyone have a pinout diagram for the 94 ranger instrument clusters? I need to see the pinout's for both with tach and without, so I can figure out what wires need to be moved to the other connector to get the gauges working.
Thank you.

Is it "Standard" or "Sport"? California or Non-California emmissions? With AC or without?
Also what size engine?

Hope this works, and hope it helps.

"Electrical and Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual, 1994 Ranger". Look on eBay for this and other Ford factory manuals. With patience factory manuals can be bought on eBay for reasonable cost, and they're well worth it. Good luck with your gauges; if you get stuck, post away on what ain't going right.

Thanks. is $40 reasonable for that manual?

I am switching the dash to a non tach dash because I installed a 5" Autometer tach. So I need to figure out which wires need to move over to the right connecter to oil and fuel gauges working.

If you check eBay regularly and you're patient you should be able to pick up an EVTM for less; I'm thinking more closer to $20.

I have not personally done the gauge cluster swap that you're doing. Maybe somebody that has, will chime in.

That being said, with just a quick look at the circuit differences it looks the standard cluster just doesn't use several circuits that the sport cluster uses. Have you tried plugging in the new cluster and seeing what works or doesn't work?

You might still find a 93-94 Ford CD on ebay. I got a 96-99 for 12.95 recently which covers EVERY Ford those years in astounding detail. I've been using a 93-94 like it since buying my Ranger in 2006

Its also worth checking craigslist and kijiji. I picked up a 91 CD for C$10. It won't play until you use the thing for older operating systems...sorry can't think of the proper terminology.

True dat! My 93-94 won't load on 10 but the 96-99 will. It works ok for me because I still have the XP set up which still has old files and programs I use

Cool I will keep looking then. And yes I plugged it in and noticed the fuel gauge isn’t reading. All 4 gauges were on the left on my current cluster and the replacement cluster has oil and fuel on the right.
