1994 Ford Ranger very bad idle problem

i am currently having the same problem with my 91 2.3 idling up and down whenever it wants. i originally thought it was a vacuum leak because i got around 14 psi at idle but i cannnot find any leaks. i have no idea what it could be now

coolent temp sensor

my 87 did the same thing turned out it was the coolent sensor for the ecu in the intake manifold.:icon_welder:

could be unrelated problems. If it's not your state of tune, your IAC, or your DPFE sensor....then timing belt stretch has been a problem for my 94 B2300....but I have the california model with the CPS on the dist. shaft stub so....mine is very picky!
