I have an stick '02 but don't know how a stick '94 is supposed to feel.

The clutch seems to disengage within the first 2-3" on clutch pedal travel (or at the top) and then only reengages near the top again.

While the engine checks out, she's really a wet-dog in first gear and make me wonder if the clutch is grabbing.

(My '02 has a slave thats going and I have to go to the floor but she grabs and goes - so I dont know what normal is anymore.)

Is this '94 normal and how a 94 is supposed to feel?

Engaging at the top end of the pedal travel is the norm with the hydraulic system used in RBV's.

The clutch in my 1989 B2 used to catch right off the floor when I first replaced it. Over time and about 10K miles it's slowly began releasing higher and higher. Now it catches about the time the clutch pedal is inline with the brake pedal. Seems higher than I prefer, but it does not slip and I use it to tow, so it's normal.
