ive read and searched the site and found the part number for the CMP i need to replace on my new to me ranger. Thankful for finding that and not just pulling the trigger on a $300 complete synchronizer unit.
being thats its a 1993 CA emission truck it has one, threw the 214 code, verified its likely the culprit as i went to unplug the connector to see if it was just gunked up/a bad wire at it, it bent the sensor up almost an inch, and unplugging it made no change to how its running. the 12A112 listed part number does look different than mine (flat sensor connection vs mine having a 90 degree turned upward connector, but both are 3 terminal and i know its essentially just a hall effect sensor from reading pages on here) and i dont care about that as long as the fore mentioned sensor will work with my 93, so my only real question besides its compatibility, is if there is a part number for the correct connector to work with said sensor, before i hunt down a junk yard one.
thanks in advance!
