i started with a stock ranger and tore everthing out of it. me and a few buddys custom built all the front suspension. here's some specs on it

4in lift yj leaf springs in the front
narrow track dana 44 front and rear out of a wagoneer.
72 302 with an rv cam in it
built c4 tranny with shift kit and deep pan
then for a tcase i decided to go with a devorced np205

still to come

explorer springs
springover kit
5inch shackles
custom highsteer from balistic fabrication
then pulling my tcase and making it twin stick

my cuz will be posting pix of it soon thank

This is all I have right now in various stages of the build. Send me some more pictures man. Or I'll come take some tomorrow.

looks good, but why did you make the front hangers so low? why not just get more arched springs instead?

I was wondering the same thing...

And your exhaust is a little low too..

But looks good man! I like it

or just mount the springs on top of the axle instead of under. looks good though.

ya i made a few mistakes on it because i listened to a buddy that said he had done it before so im remaking the cross member and useing ranger springs. then all the pictures that are posted were when i had the v6 in it i still am waiting on doing exaust for the 302. and i just got the spring over kit.

thanks

That's a pretty sweet truck. I was going to mention the spring hangars as well but that's already been mentioned and you said you were changing it. Other than this it's a badass rig. Post up more pictures after the conversion.

Lookin good. I'd have to agree with other about the spring hanger/ spring over stuff.
Personally, I really like the exhuast! The only thing I would do is put some sort of protection around the pipe.

And I'm not too far away from you either! I'm here in Enumclaw!

Yup we don't live too far. Does anyone get together off here?

ok good, i was thinking that with a carbed 302 and that tiny exhaust that sombitch must have been pretty loud

Gonna look good with a spring over and redoing that front spring hanger. Theres starting to be alot of SAS trucks around here.

Yeah. Sucks doing everything twice but unfortunately we now have to fix what his buddy built. And then on to my SAS.
